Designed in conjunction with Dano See, and incorporating a design pedigree from Cabrinha, Ben Wilson and Slingshot kites, Wingman has lots of low end grunt, super comfy handles, and is super stiff to eat up gusts and get you flying! Also was one of the first wing designs with detached center strut and luff panel for extra power and stability in gusts.
The fourth version of the Wingman has had a major upgrade with a completely new outline, profile and sizing. The outline has been tuned for minimal span of wing and strut length. The shorter strut allows for greater ease during spinning maneuvers and light wind gybing and flagging. We have managed to keep all the previous attributes of stability, range and ease of use.
Critical reinforced areas for all-terrain use.
One handed operation wrist leash.
Direct port inflate valve/deflate on LE and strut.
A three-part construction handle has a semi-rigid nylon skeleton and outside stitching which delivers the best comfort and connection to the wing. These are a Long/short/ long combination allowing ease of moving holding position and grabbing after changing direction.
All new canopy tension settings result in a more stable shape through low to high end which delivers better upwind performance and a neater canopy.
Inside we have updated to a more streamlined bladder system that saves 10% of the weight and retains the same strength.
UNI bag. Comes with a generously sized smart bag that opens all the way out to be flat. This allows sand to be removed easily, it can be used as a change mat and even a seat cover if you want to drive home in your wetsuit!
