The Manta TakeOff Evo has the highest-rated motor of any commercial foil assist right now: 3,500W and 35 kg of thrust for takeoffs, catching waves and getting back upwind. It mounts on the foil board you already own, or goes on your back with the Manta Backpack, and starts from just 4.5 kg. And it travels: the Air batteries go in your carry-on, and we've taken eight sets through TSA.

Both come with 1x Air (194 Wh, 15–20 min), 2x Air (388 Wh, 35–40 min) or one Endurance battery (518 Wh, 45–50 min). Ride times are Manta's averages and vary with rider weight and setup.

With the V3, the goal was to deliver the kind of performance riders associate with
high-end materials such as Aluula, without adding that cost. We focused on increasing canopy skin tension and refining the airfoil profiles, resulting in earlier take-offs, better lift through lulls, and improved upwind efficiency.

We also reduced tip twist so the wing stays more balanced overhead during
tacks and flags cleanly when depowered. Refinements to the leading-edge dihedral
improved overall stability and control. The V3 has been extensively tested in Maui and Tenerife, and we are confident in its performance across a wide range of conditions.

The Konrad 1600 Surf wing is my go to for winging and wing foil surfing in 10-14 mph wind. It’s got a low stall speed and is easy to get on foil. Carving is really smooth and easy, stable and balanced. When it’s bigger/windier I use the GS1250 High aspect which turns and rides smoother overall, making it carry speed really well through turns. Not “twitchy” but stable. Like all HA wings, it needs water flow to get going, but once you’re up and riding- it’s fast, pumps well and surfs really well- loose but not scary, stable but not stiff. A solid system that’s easy to set up and break down.
